Kevin's View  Tonight being Wednesday again, I headed over to Heritage Park again for the free Music in the Plaza event. I met James and some other friends from one of my meetup groups. The band has been advertised as having 'Irish' compositions. Turns out it was supposed to be 'lush' compositions. They were kind of folksy but not really. They started out well enough but the last song was about giving advice to not become a serial killer so the guy could get a girlfriend...

Hillary's View 1. I think there is a light coming above our sink. But for now, it's just a wire and some electrical tape. I'm sure it will be nice if/when it ever comes. 2. The shower has an insta-hot electric water heater. It works great, but I'm kind of sketched about changing the switches while I'm... ya know... under the water. Especially since that really big blue spark in the heater the other day and the stories of jolts from others in our group. 3. I happened upon a rather large... lake in the middle of our room this evening. It took all these towels and then some to sop them up. Where did the water come from? 4. Ah. The sink. Unless it's absolutely on FULL BLAST, the faucet isn't long enough for the water to flow into the sink. And you really have to crank it to turn it off. If you don't, it turns out, it runs onto the sink, over the counter, onto the floor, and fills your room with water. Who knew?
