Kevin's View
Hillary's View
This weekend, most of the AIM missionaries are gathering in Kalacha for our bi-annual prayer days.  For us, the four hour journey from Korr to Kalacha means crossing the Chalbi desert - about 2.5 hours over flat, dusty, cracked-mud, salt flat nothingness - lava fields to our right, massive twisters of dust and sand all around us. Clouds are reflected in the mirages, and you can SEE the heat in the air.  We stopped at the beginning of the desert to get out and take some photos, and it felt like we were standing inside an oven.  It is formidable, beautiful, and fascinating, and I am thankful I get to be here!
