Hillary's View
The light over the dining table in the house has been out since before I got here. The long term missionaries brought some new tubes up from Nairobi in September, but they weren't the right size. We had our unit leader buy the right size in Nairobi and send some spare tubes up on the plane at the end of September, but we couldn't get them into the fixture. When I went to take a look at why, I saw this. The photo on the left is how the fixture is SUPPOSED to look. Just spin the dealie, slide the pegs on the tube in, and twist - let there be light! But the other side had been MELTED. Not sure how that happened, but it certainly explains why we can't get a tube in! |
