I went for a bike ride around Chestermere today to take advantage of the flat bike paths along the irrigation canals and to do some caching. I found this neat sculpture at the south end of Chestermere Lake (or Chester Slough as some have called it). They were quite tall, at least eight feet high.

This is my colleague Steve, another short termer who stays on the compound. A few months ago there were two American girls staying here and decorated the back of our front door. Since Steve is from Britain and I am from Canada, this waving American flag just didn't make sense... so we changed it! Commonwealth, yeah! |
