Kevin's View
What a difference a few days makes. Today definitely felt like Fall. The birch tree in the front yard seemed to agree and obliged by shedding a bunch of leaves overnight.

Hillary's View
The Northern Frontier District flight came today and brought with it the supplies we ordered from Nairobi.  We had some supplies for the house, and were really craving some real meat.  My friend Marlene who's working in South Sudan told me that they have chicken flown up once a month, and it's glorious.  I'm here to tell you, indeed it is! We had some fruit and veg come, too, and cheese! Real live cheese! I forgot I had ordered that, so BONUS!  It pretty much felt like Christmas. I opened my real orange juice, wrapped a wet tea towel around it and set in in the windy window to cool (almost as good as a fridge!) and set to work making dinner, home made tortillas and everything! (Oh my word, so easy! And delicious!)  Desert soft tacos, baby, YEAH! This might be totally standard back home, but here? AH-MAZING!
