Kevin's View  Sydney was helping me with supper tonight. She had grabbed the linguine from the cupboard and put it on the stove. She did something else while I opened the package. She turned around to grab it, thinking it was closed and we nearly lost our supper before it was started. Quick young hands though saved all but a few pieces. :)

Hillary's View This guy definitely qualifies as the biggest scorpion I've ever seen. A few days ago the wind had blown down a cloth/wrap I had hanging on a hook in my bedroom.  I finally got around to picking it up today (terrible, I know. I just kept thinking it was futile to hang it up, cause it would just blow down again).  I just grabbed it and went to put it back on the hook when I heard a "clack!" on the floor.  I looked down and saw THIS GUY a few inches from my bare toes! EEEEEEK! The don't bother me when I see them around, I just avoid them, but this bad boy was just hiding in something I WRAP AROUND MY BODY and I could have just grabbed him unknowingly. *SHIVER* I went to grab my can of Doom (like Raid) but seconds later when I got back HE WAS GONE! I grabbed a stick to poke things around a bit and found him, emptying a large percentage of the can on him.  He ran off to a corner but DIDN'T DIE! I thought he was dead here, but nope, just stunned. After I took the photo, he started running around again! So I chased him outside with my stick and crushed him - several times - with a big rock.  I'll be checking my things more carefully from now on! Thanks for your continued prayers for safety.  This is just one of the ways God is answering them! UPDATE: A few days later, this was all that was left of Mr Scorpion after the ants had had their fill!
