Kevin's View
After dropping Sydney off at the Riverside rec centre in Fairmont and taking Tori back to the condo, I had some time to kill. So I meandered back to where Sydney was. This meant attempting a cache or two. Well, for one, I didn't even get out of the vehicle because momma deer was grazing with these two fawns (Quick Love! What kind are they?). I watched them for about 20 minutes before moving on.
It was so great to get shots of them with my new lens, I had to include a bonus shot. Both are uncropped, the top is at 400 mm and the bottom 210 mm.

Orientation is over! What a jam-packed three weeks - it was so great. On the way back to Nairobi, some of us stopped for a tour of Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe. Outside the cafeteria was this "cup tree." The students all have their own mugs/cups, and hang them on the hooks of this metal tree when they're not using them. Need your cup? Head to the tree! :) |
