Kevin's View
Driving south on Blackfoot today, I saw this interesting rhino advertising floor tiles. I had to stop and have a look.
Hillary's View
I had another outdoor adventure today on our day off. Tim, Linda, and I took a taxi and then went for a short hike to a lookout over Lake Elementaita, about 20km south of Nakuru. It was at this stunning lookout that we were the first people to find a geocache that had been lying in wait for someone to find for over a month!

While we were hesitant to leave this beautiful spot, we walked about 5km down the road to the Kariandusi National Prehistoric Site where there have been hundreds and hundreds of obsidian (glassy, black volcanic rock) hand axes found in an archeological site. They date from the stone age - 700,000 to a million years old! It was a fascinating day to learn about geology, history, and enjoy some more of the amazing beauty Kenya has to offer.
