Coming home from Kenya, I realized how lucky I was to have been able to go. Even just a few days later it was a weird feeling which I don't know how to express. It was exciting and new and the trip of a lifetime. Looking at the currency in my wallet after reminded me I have not done a trip this big since high school. Front to back, I had Kenyan shillings (about $1.20), British pounds, US and Canadian dollars. |

I'm thankful to Kevin for bringing some decorations for me - I've made a little Christmas nook in my room to enjoy. Hot chocolate and some Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, and other Christmas crooners playing on my computer makes my work time a little brighter. |
