Kevin's View
There have been forest fires burning in Southern BC and several roads are closed, mainly forestry roads, including the one to Lussier Hot Springs. :( The up side is the beautiful sunsets that can happen in the haziness. This was the view from just outside our condo.
Hillary's View
For the second week in a row, our small group was invited to one of the church elder's houses for lunch.  The welcome and hospitality we have received at this little rural church - Africa Inland Church (AIC) Crater - has been very humbling.  There is an African proverb we have been told several times over our three weeks at AIC Crater - Water from far away tastes sweeter.  One of the many, many things I think we can learn from Kenyans is how visitors are truly seen as blessings.  They say we have blessed them, but I have to argue it is the other way around!

This is Pastor Peter (I wanted a photo of just him, but it was not to be :) ).  Please pray for this little, but growing church, and for Pastor Peter and the other elders as they lead.
