Tonight I went for 'coffee' with my friend Sean. We hadn't seen each other in a while so there was lots of catching up to do. Afterward, I took him out to find his first two geocaches. :)

I'm in Tofino, BC for two days to visit my sister with my parents and we enjoyed the rainforest and west coast beach, sun and salt air, and these little guys... valella valellas. They are tiny plastic looking little sail boats that usually live 20 miles off shore, blowing where ever the wind takes them. There have been prevailing NW winds recently, so they have blown to shore, covering the beach with blue slimy sails - three animals in one. Unusual, beautiful, and so fun to say! Valella valella! |
